I have all the artwork and contacts for the DGP coin if you want to use any of that work as a starting point. Just let me know. We basically had design finalized but could never get DGP Admin's final approval.

I think getting some swag for the site is a great idea. Coins, shirts, hats, etc. would be cool. However, I think it is still early to start work on this since we need to get the branding set first.

We are working with a graphic/web designer friend of mine who is used to the whole T-Shirt, etc. angle for sites like this. Our current stance is that this is a hobby (not a business) and we aren't looking to make money doing this. If costs (server hosting, premium accounts for data access, etc.) become an issue, many people have offerred to donate money which is great to hear - mostly because of the enthusiam for the project that it implies.

Having SWAG potentially accomplishes two goals. One - SWAG is cool! I'd love a LonelyCache embroidered polo shirt (or a nice quality t-shirt for hiking). Plus, if costs do become something to watch we could potentially make 50 cents (random number) per shirt to pay for premium accounts for grabbing data. Who knows.

I'm rambling. My designer friend has some great ideas and is really talented in this kind of space. I'm excited to see it go forward!

Here's a photo of a window decal I had made up for some folks who were into DGP. I'm going to have some made for LCP. I'll just have the maker exchange LC for DG. If anyone wants some let me know.

I would be interested but at this time I have to watch what I spend my money on until I find a job.
