Re: Achilles Caches
I had almost forgoten about the Achilles Caches stats. I didn't follow it all that much but I think it would be worth integrating into this site.

One of the few advantages of being low in the standings! Nobody used that against me! It was interesting info though.

Re: Achilles Caches
I didn't even know this existed on the DGP! Guess I wasn't doing it right...
I was more focused on points...and quite frankly felt guilty knocking down my BC caching friends via the achilles points. My point of view is to provide all the stats/lists possible from the PC numbers and let the community use them as they wish. So, if it's doable...then do it.
Re: Achilles Caches
Achilles points certainly adds an interesting componant to the "game". sort of a double whammy effect. Though I got pounded point wise this way in the past it also gave me the incentive to reciprocate, in a very friendly, positive manner, of course.

Re: Achilles Caches
Achilles points were not scoring points, just how many points would be lost by a cache when the next finder logged it. For example, a cache earned 100 points every 12 months, or 8.3 per month. If after 1 year it had 2 finds, then each finder got 50 points. The Achilles points were 17 as adding another find would divide 100 by 3 and the cache would be worth 33.3 points now.
