It's currently December 21 at least where I live and nothing unusual has happened yet. The sun is still shining on the other side of the planet and the moon has not turned dark. Just thought I'd share the end of the world

I received this email at 6:01 this morning from a friend in Melbourne, Australia:

It's just past midnight - now 0.01am 22 December. All OK ! You can relax. HA ! HA !

My reaction was... "Crap, now I have to go to work."

I heard today that the Mayans weren't predicting the end of the world, just the end of Twinkies. They were off a bit, but still pretty close.

Well now that the world did't end. Maybe the Twinkie thing can be addressed.
