I have moved this topic from the suggested improvements page. This macro works fine on my old XP computer, but does not seem to work on my new Windows 8 computer. I have tried all the suggestion made by you, Clyde and others at GSAK. thoehn (Tom) and I compared our setups today and found two files that he has but are missing on my Windows 8. They are in the Macros subfolder. They are LonelyCacheImport.gsb (36 KB) and LonelyCacheImport.xml They also appear on my old XP computer. Could these be the reason for the macro to crash ? I tried copying the 2 files from my XP to the new computer, but it still crashes. But sometimes, simply copying files from one computer to another does not work. Help !

The problem has now gone away after removing ALL files containing GSAK or GSAK8 on my new computer. Then I simply reinstalled GSAK using all the defaults. There must have been one or more leftover files when I simply copied old files from my XP over to my new Windows 8 computer. Maybe something like sqlite compiled by the old computer. All is now AOK. Thanks so much for trying to troubleshoot my problem ! And thanks for a great and useful macro !
