LonelyCache

We currently have about 130 some caches that aren't being placed in a region using the DGP Region polygons. We would like to correct this but it will be a manual process. We're hoping that some of you will take some of these caches and figure out what region they are in.

I have the caches grouped by state. If you are going to do this, please reply here and state what caches you will find the region for.

I emailed the CO of gear head GC38N8T about a week ago and asked if he could change the location of his cache to CA instead of AZ, but got no response. When the cache was published, the coordinates listed it as being in AZ. Then the CO edited the coordinates after I found it 58 miles to the West.

GC102X9 Rabbit Valley Overlook is in Colorado, Western Slope, Mesa Co.

I see that ♦ Salton Sea region of California ♦ has been added to my stat page. It only has 1 cache listed. Was that a mistake or do you plan on including this new region, with all the caches in it, to Lonely Cache.

The cache in question, GC38N8T gear head, was listed on Geocaching.com as being in Arizona. It appears the cache listing was finally corrected and the cache is now listed in California. Now that it is correctly marked in California, I can remove it from LonelyCache.

Seriously, I would like to add the CA and TX regions that DGP had to LonelyCache but there's work that needs to be done before that can happen. That work has not been started and I have no idea when it may start either. I'm not sure if we'll ever add Mexico, but a bit more work would need to be done to properly handle another country.

At any rate, GC38N8T gear head has been removed from LonelyCache.

I have come across two caches that do not have counties or DGP regions assigned to them. They do have a state - Utah.
I think the problem is because they are right on the border with Arizona.
They are: GC2RBF1 and GC2RBDQ
