LonelyCache

Its been a couple days since the stats have updated

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I have reset things and hopefully the stats will update properly now.

Well that didn't work. I'll need to take a closer look to figure out what's going wrong.

I have figured out why the site isn't updating. Basically early on, there's a step where all the geocache/region pairs are verified as correct. These are used extensively while processing the leaderboards, etc. Every geocache is in at least two regions and most are in four (LonelyCache wide, state, county, DGP region). For some reason, the time to process that step increased dramatically from under one minute to over many minutes. I had written the SQL query to perform the step very poorly and with the number of geocaches in LonelyCache increasing, things finally collapsed. I look at it now and wonder what the heck I was thinking.

I have rewritten the query and on my tests, it now runs in a second or two. The problem now is that I am unsure when I will be able to update the site with the fix. I have some other changes that are incomplete that I need to manage somehow before I can package the update. I'm going out of town Friday through Sunday and will not be able to tackle this until my return.
