I was pleased to see that I have actually completed 7/20 caches even though I didn't have DGP or LCP to motivate me. I'm looking forward to seeing where my point total will be with the new system. Will it be higher because of my finds, or lower because my hide points are now in a separate category? I'm looking forward to seeing the answer!
Well, here it is

That's quite a bit better than the 1,585, 5,674, 7,259 the DGP shows.

Thanks Dude! Very nice of you!

Now that I sidelined the discussion with a tangent, here is a real contribution.
First is a plug for one of my own. Lucient the Magnificient and I hiked to Gibson Peak
http://coord.info/GC2DA0W in april. Since placing it only 2 finds, and last was over 15 months previous. Odd, since it is within 2 miles of metropolitan Payson.

It also had $20 in it for the next finder.
The second is this one in Colorado at Purgatory.
http://coord.info/GC2CAX7 It is a pretty easy cache to find, but because it is a multi no one bothers to look for it while they scour the rest of the hillside. We found it just two weeks short of one year.

Found
Phantom assisted today after not being found in 643 days or 1.76 years. Of course I took a slightly mere difficult but not as long a route to the cache. Compared to other hikes that I have done to find a geocache it was still a fairly easy hike.

WOW! Congratulations to LCP member
larsslc for finding
The Last, the #2 loneliest cache on the board. FTF after 33 DNF logs over 5 years and nearly 10 months (582 Pts). Awesome!

I thought I'd get a hike in this morning and found two that hadn't been found in over a year:
A nice looking Diamond-Back buzzed me shortly after I started the hike.

Not much for me lately. I've been swamped with work, etc. Today though, I did teach a girl scout troop about geocaching. That's gotta count for something!

I found a lonelycache today. Or at least, I found appropriate evidence for where it was supposed to be. I sent a photo to the CO to see if I should log it.
if so, it's gone unfound for 18 months.

On Sunday, I found
this cache, STF on a 1 yr 3 mo micro = 65 Points. A bit of an adventure for a micro within walking distance a trailhead. Even though, it's less than 0.1 miles from a place to park, you have to drive a rough 4x4 road 20-25 minutes up the foothills, and then descend about 250 ft (vertical) on a ~70° slope making your own trail (erosion) on the way down... then having to find your way back up! Ties as my #1 backcountry find, along with its brother I found last year. I made sure to place my own cache a little further up the canyon (but much easier terrain).

OK-A group of 6 of us hiked an inflatable kayak 9 miles down the Tanner trail this weekend. 5 of us crossed the Colorado River to grab this cache
http://coord.info/GCGAZ9. We are the first people ever to do this! We hiked 44 miles over the 3 days and grabbed these caches and a Challenge as well!

I tried to get the Petroglyphs cache 2 years ago (at the beginning of a 75 mile Tonto trail hike from Tanner to Hermit) but after 30 second in the water, Jonben99 and I decided it was not safe! Not a ton of points but an Epic Adventure!

Frodo Baggins that was last found over 19 months ago. I also found
Glamdring and Orcrist that was last found 13 months ago.

Sweet! Logs like these make for some good armchair caching out here in Virginia!

Cool

I bet that would be fun to find on a dirt bike!
