We will have a set of leader boards for each defined region. Currently we have six regions defined: LonelyCache wide, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.
Each region will have the following set of leader boards:
- Best all Around Geocacher (BAG?): Geocacher scores will be the sum of all of a geocacher's hides and finds in the region.
- Traditional Cache: Geocacher scores will be the sum of all of a geocacher's hides and finds of traditional caches in the region.
- Multi-Cache: Geocacher scores will be the sum of all of a geocacher's hides and finds of multi-caches in the region.
- Virtual Cache: Geocacher scores will be the sum of all of a geocacher's hides and finds of virtual caches in the region.
- Letterbox Hybrid: Geocacher scores will be the sum of all of a geocacher's hides and finds of letterbox hybrids in the region.
- Unknown Cache: Geocacher scores will be the sum of all of a geocacher's hides and finds of unknown caches in the region.
- Webcam Cache: Geocacher scores will be the sum of all of a geocacher's hides and finds of webcam caches in the region.
- EarthCache: Geocacher scores will be the sum of all of a geocacher's hides and finds of earthcaches in the region.
- Wherigo Cache: Geocacher scores will be the sum of all of a geocacher's hides and finds of wherigo caches in the region.
I'd like to reiterate here, that a geocacher's hide will only be counted if it has been found.
Some more information about the leader boards:
- Leader boards will be made up of the scores of all geocacher's that have found and/or hid a qualifying cache for that board, not just the top geocachers.
- Geocachers will be ranked by score. Top scorers will be the board leaders. In case of a tie, geocachers will have the same rank, but will be ordered by geocaching name.
