LonelyCache

I tried the feature to update the note with LCP points and it worked! Nice!

Not a big deal, but since October or so when things ground to a halt for a while, it takes overnight for my finds to show up. This has been consistent for me - I log on the site after finding a cache, then come back the next day and it is there.

Russell, yes, I got a promotion. I grew up in Oregon and my sister lives in Eugene. I like the landscapes better in Arizona and Colorado so I doubt I will retire in Oregon.

I'm thinking about lonely cache points in Oregon since I'll be moving there in February. What would it take to make a west coast version of LonelyCache? Would that be easier than adding more states to LonelyCache? If LonelyCache does keep expanding, would it be possible to add leaderboards for group...

I'm not getting today's finds. I'm not expecting help today, just posting the info.

Wow, the "most wanted" list is interesting. Some caches I've been saying I'll get "someday" have surprisingly high points.

One enhancement I'd like is the ability to sort by max points rather than having them sorted by points per mile.

Ah ha! CopperWings's note about autocorrect led me in the right direction. I found my saved passwords area and deleted all the lonelycache website saved passwords. Now I can type the T and it stays put.

So it's not just I don't see recent finds. I can't click on my name at the top right next to "log out." I don't get "you've found" and "you haven't found" when I go to another CO.

Thanks, TheBlizzles. Team OPJim explained it to me as well. Hopefully I understand this now: the day I found the cache I did have more points, but when the next team found it, my points and everyone else's points decreased.

I have noticed a couple of caches that I found shortly before another team (e.g. Friday 1:05 PM, I found on a Saturday and Team opjim the next Monday). I and the other caching team have gotten the same number of points for the find. Shouldn't I get more points if I find it earlier? Is this a consequ...
